Ashlee Breann Stevens Obituary, Death – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has identified the Lubbock woman who died in a crash early Sunday morning in Floyd County. The victim was 22-year-old Ashlee Breann Stevens.
The incident occurred around 3:24 a.m. as Stevens was driving a 2016 Nissan Rogue southbound on U.S. Highway 62, near mile marker 378. DPS reports that Stevens failed to navigate a curve and veered off into the improved shoulder of the roadway. She then lost control of her vehicle, which skidded sideways on the west side of the road before rolling over and coming to a stop.
Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident. DPS notes that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Road conditions were reported as dry, and the weather was clear.
