Arnaldo Melendez-Perez Obituary, Death – Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred on Treehaven Drive in Richmond on Sunday evening. The incident took place around 8:55 p.m. on September 1, when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of Treehaven Drive. Upon arrival, they found a man lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim, now identified as 43-year-old Arnaldo Melendez-Perez, was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death will be officially determined by the medical examiner.
This tragic event marks the second fatal shooting on Treehaven Drive within a month. The first shooting took place on August 9, resulting in the death of a 24-year-old man.
