Julie Butcher Obituary, Death – The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who was shot and killed while driving on the Northeast Side of San Antonio. Julie Butcher, 31, was fatally shot in the head late Friday evening, just before 9:30 p.m. The shooting occurred on the southbound access road of Interstate 35, between Eisenhauer Road and Rittiman Road.
Following the shooting, San Antonio police reported that Butcher’s vehicle rolled over before coming to a stop. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Butcher was pronounced dead shortly after. The police have stated that they believe the shooting was not random, and they are treating the incident as targeted.
At this time, authorities have not released any information regarding a suspect or a suspect vehicle, and the investigation is ongoing.
