Jacob Nephew, Kathryn Nephew Obituary, Death – Five people, including two children, tragically lost their lives in a murder-suicide in Duluth, with police releasing the identities of those involved on Thursday. All the victims were residents of Duluth.
The victims found at the home on the 6000 block of Tacony Street were identified as 47-year-old Erin Abramson and 15-year-old Jacob Nephew. Both died from gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, at a different residence on the 4400 block of West 6th Street, 45-year-old Kathryn Nephew (Ramsland) and 7-year-old Oliver Nephew were also found dead from gunshot wounds.
The suspected shooter, 46-year-old Anthony Nephew, was found at the same West 6th Street home. Police believe he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Investigators confirmed that all those involved were acquainted with each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
