John DeMarco Obituary, Death – On Monday night, a pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run incident in Washington Township, New Jersey. The collision occurred around 8 p.m. at the intersection of Fries Mill Road and Adele Drive, where an unidentified vehicle hit John DeMarco, 58, of Turnersville. The driver fled the scene before police arrived.

DeMarco was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where he later died from his injuries. Preliminary findings indicate DeMarco was walking in the southbound lane of Fries Mill Road when the collision occurred. Currently, police have not identified the driver or released details about the vehicle involved.

Following the incident, Fries Mill Road was closed for roughly two hours as police conducted an on-scene investigation.
