William McPheeters Obituary, Death – Authorities have released the identity of a man who was found shot in a vehicle crash on the Watterson Expressway. The incident took place on Thursday, October 31, on I-264 East near mile marker 18, just west of the I-64 interchange.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 36-year-old William McPheeters, confirming that he died from a gunshot wound. According to the Louisville Metro Police, McPheeters lost control of his vehicle after being shot, which caused him to collide with two other vehicles and then overturn. Thankfully, no one in the other vehicles sustained any injuries from the accident.
The case remains under active investigation, with no arrests made or suspects named as of now.
