Gerald Russell Obituary, Death – A man from Petersburg, Indiana, was killed Monday night in an ATV accident when his vehicle reportedly struck a ditch along a rural Pike County road. Indiana State Police (ISP) are investigating the single-vehicle crash, which involved 73-year-old Gerald Russell.
According to ISP, the accident occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. near the intersection of Cart Road and County Road 250 West. Russell was driving a Honda four-wheeler when, for unknown reasons, his ATV left the road on the north side, hit a ditch, and rolled multiple times.
Russell was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner’s Office. The ISP continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
