Jason Poirier Obituary, Death – A tragic car accident that occurred late Saturday night in New London has resulted in the death of a 33-year-old man. The incident took place at the intersection of Colman Street and Broad Street at approximately 11:49 p.m., involving two vehicles and leaving several people injured. Upon arrival at the scene, New London police officers discovered multiple injured individuals and arranged for four of them to be transported to L+M Hospital for treatment.
One of the injured, Jason Poirier, a New London resident and one of the drivers, was later moved to Yale New Haven Hospital because of the serious nature of his injuries. Sadly, Poirier succumbed to these injuries on Monday.
