Müller, who had been riding his bike near the intersection of E. Call Street and N. Monroe Street on October 17, was struck by a vehicle whose driver allegedly ran a red light, according to a press release from Tallahassee Police. The accident occurred around 3 p.m., and Müller was hit while crossing in a crosswalk.
Müller sustained severe injuries and was immediately transported to a local hospital. Despite treatment efforts, he succumbed to his injuries several days later. Police have reported that the driver involved in the collision was cited for running a red light. As of now, the State Attorney’s Office, led by Jack Campbell, is reviewing the incident as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, though no additional comments have been made at this stage.
