Timothy Neher Obituary, Death – A 65-year-old bicyclist from Holmdel was struck and killed in a crash involving a driver with a suspended license, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago. The driver, identified as 28-year-old John Baradekji from Manalapan, is now facing charges for operating a vehicle with a suspended license in connection with the fatal accident.

The crash occurred on August 12, when Holmdel Police responded to a report of an accident at the intersection of Bethany Road and Galway Drive. Upon arrival, officers found the bicyclist, later identified as Timothy Neher, lying in the road. Neher was rushed to Bayshore Medical Center for treatment but sadly died from his injuries later that morning.

Investigators determined that Neher was struck by a 2008 Kia driven by Baradekji. However, additional details about the incident were not disclosed by the prosecutors. The investigation was conducted with the cooperation of the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team, the Major Crimes Bureau of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Holmdel Police Department.
