Clovis A. Power Obituary, Death – A woman from Eupora lost her life in a car accident on Friday morning, not far from her home. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle collision occurred around 10:16 a.m. on Highway 82 in Webster County.
Investigators reported that 74-year-old Clovis A. Power was the victim of the crash when another vehicle struck the rear of her 2018 Ford Escape. The other driver involved in the accident, identified as 25-year-old Jomaryee D. Brown from Columbus, was traveling west on Highway 82 when her van collided with the back of Power’s vehicle. Fortunately, Brown did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. More details will be released as the investigation progresses.
