Romualdo Hernandez Sanchez Obituary,Death – Romualdo Hernandez Sanchez, a 35-year-old man from Saratoga Springs, Utah, was killed on Interstate 15 while waiting for emergency assistance after his truck broke down. The tragic incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday near the 700 South interchange in Clearfield.

Sanchez had been driving in the HOV lane on the left side of the southbound lanes when his truck malfunctioned. He exited the vehicle to wait for help on the shoulder, just off the roadway. However, it was dark at the time, and his truck’s lights were reportedly not functioning, making the situation more perilous.

As vehicles approached, a Chevy Impala, driving at freeway speeds, swerved to the right at the last moment to avoid crashing into Sanchez’s truck. Shortly afterward, a Chevy Malibu, also traveling behind the Impala, swerved to the left and struck both the truck and Sanchez, resulting in his death. Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver and a passenger in the Chevy Malibu sustained minor injuries, and all individuals involved remained on-site and fully cooperated with the authorities during the investigation.
