Steve Le, Leslie Lynn Obituary, Death – Two drivers have been identified as the victims of a fatal accident on Interstate 95 in Greenland that occurred Wednesday afternoon. The incident was reported to New Hampshire State Police just before 1:15 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two individuals deceased and a third person suffering from serious injuries, who was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
The deceased have been identified as 24-year-old Steve Le from Methuen, Massachusetts, and 58-year-old Leslie Lynn from Roanoke, Virginia. The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation by state authorities.
According to preliminary findings, Le was driving a 2023 Toyota Camry northbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The car crossed over the median into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2019 Ford Econoline driven by Lynn. The exact reason for Le’s loss of control has not yet been determined.
As a result of the collision, the Ford Econoline was forced to cross back over the median from the southbound lanes into the northbound lanes before coming to a stop at the edge of the woods. Both Le and Lynn were pronounced dead at the scene. Additionally, another passenger in the Ford Econoline was taken to an unspecified hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The tragic accident led to significant traffic disruptions, with debris scattered across the highway. State police closed both the northbound and southbound lanes as they conducted their investigation. By 4:30 p.m., traffic was being diverted off the highway at Exit 3.
The crash occurred near mile marker 9.2, and the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues. Authorities are working to gather more details to understand what led to this tragic event.
