Quentin Brown Obituary, Death – A shooting incident in Dallas’ Southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon is believed to stem from a love triangle, according to an arrest affidavit. The tragic event occurred just after 3 p.m. in the parking lot of Estelle Village Apartments, located on Highland Village Drive.

Witnesses reported the shooting to the police and noted that the suspect fled the scene in a silver Dodge Charger. When law enforcement arrived, they discovered 36-year-old Quentin Brown shot and lying in the parking lot. He was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The affidavit reveals that officers had interacted with both the suspect and Brown just moments before the shooting took place. During this encounter, the officers recorded the license plate number of the vehicle driven by the suspect. The individual was later identified as 22-year-old Alonzo Green.

Police located Green approximately five miles away in the Red Bird neighborhood, where he was found inside the silver Dodge Charger. He was arrested and taken to the Dallas Police headquarters for questioning. Upon his arrest, officers noticed that Green had blood on his shoes, and a firearm was discovered inside the vehicle.

During interrogation, Green confessed to detectives that he had driven to the parking lot specifically to confront Brown and shot him.

Detectives also spoke to a witness who revealed that she had been involved in a romantic relationship with both Green and Brown, and that recent disputes between the two men had arisen over their connections to her. For safety reasons, her identity has not been disclosed.

Green has since been charged with murder, and the investigation into the shooting continues. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact Detective Adam Thayer at 214-671-3657 or via email at adam.thayer@dallaspolice.gov.
