Devarious Robinson, Joe Pittman Obituary, Death – Louisiana State Police are currently investigating a tragic crash that resulted in the deaths of two individuals in Tangipahoa Parish on Tuesday, October 15. The incident occurred around 5:05 p.m. on Louisiana Highway 1064 at Greco Road.
Initial reports from the LSP indicate that 26-year-old Devarious Robinson was driving a Chrysler north on Greco Road. Simultaneously, a GMC was traveling east, and a Chevrolet was heading west on Louisiana Highway 1064. As Robinson entered the intersection, he reportedly drove into the path of the GMC, which then struck the side of the Chrysler. Debris from the collision also impacted the Chevrolet.
Robinson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, as was his passenger, 64-year-old Joe Pittman. The LSP confirmed that neither Robinson nor Pittman were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
The driver of the GMC, along with two passengers, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Fortunately, the driver of the Chevrolet was not injured in the incident.
The LSP is continuing its investigation into the crash, and routine toxicology samples were collected as part of the inquiry. The investigation aims to uncover more details about the circumstances leading to this devastating accident.
