Trinh Thi Vu Obituary, Death – Toronto police have identified the woman who was allegedly killed by a suspected serial killer earlier this month. In a press update on Friday, authorities confirmed that 66-year-old Trinh Thi Vu was discovered dead at a residence near the intersection of Keele Street and Dundas Street West on the afternoon of October 1. While there was evidence of trauma on her body, the police have not yet disclosed the exact cause of death.
Trinh Thi Vu is now recognized as the city’s 69th homicide victim of 2024. Last week, police arrested 30-year-old Sabrina Kauldhar, charging her with second-degree murder in connection with Vu’s death.
Kauldhar is also facing murder charges related to two other cases in Hamilton and Niagara Falls. These involve the deaths of Lance Cunningham on October 2 and Mario Bilich on October 3. Investigators have indicated that Kauldhar and Vu were known to each other, but further details about their relationship have not been released. In contrast, the two men, Cunningham and Bilich, are believed to have been “randomly targeted.”
