Robert Brewer Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the man who was fatally struck by a car last week on Tucson’s south side. The victim, 60-year-old Robert Brewer, was hit while pushing a shopping cart across East Ajo Way near South Palo Verde Road at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Friday, according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Brewer was crossing the road when he was struck by a westbound 2015 Dodge Dart. Sadly, Brewer was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge Dart was not injured in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to gather more details about the circumstances surrounding the accident.
