James William Cole Obituary, Death – An 84-year-old man has lost his life following an ATV accident in Woodward County, where he fell while trying to clear a tree limb. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the tragic event took place on Monday at approximately 10:30 a.m. on the intersection of S County Road 223 and E County Road 57.
According to OHP, the man was in the process of pulling a tree limb when the left tire of his ATV went off the edge of a creek. This caused him to lose his balance and fall, resulting in a severe head injury.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene due to head trauma and internal injuries. The victim has been identified as James William Cole.
