Javier-Reynos Obituary, Death – Officials identified the victim killed in a crash involving a Jeep and a motor scooter in Paterson Wednesday night that also left another man injured, authorities said.
Paterson police responded to the area of 9th Avenue and Madison Avenue for the reported crash at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, according to a press release from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. Officers determined that two 18-year-olds, Angelvl Javier-Reynos and another man, were riding a scooter when they collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Javier-Reynos was pronounced dead as a result of the crash, while the other 18-year-old was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with non-fatal injuries, the release stated. The driver of the Jeep, who was uninjured, had valid driving credentials and remained at the scene.
