Katrina Zwolinksi, Laurie Crew Obituary, Death – Recent court documents have revealed the identities of the two women who were tragically killed in a home in Courtice. The accused, 33-year-old Michael Belhu, faces charges of second-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Katrina Zwolinski and Laurie Crew.
While the specific nature of the relationship between Belhu, Zwolinksi, and Crew has not been disclosed, court records indicate that the charges are classified as involving intimate partner violence. Prior legal documents show that Belhu had previously been charged with mischief for allegedly damaging Crew’s front door at their Moulton Court residence back in February, which is the same location where the women were found deceased.
According to Durham police, they received a call around 1 p.m. on Tuesday for a wellness check at the home. Upon arrival, officers discovered both women exhibiting clear signs of trauma, and they were pronounced dead at the scene. Thankfully, a child was also found in the residence but was reported to be unharmed.
Belhu was apprehended by law enforcement without any incidents. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to gather information surrounding the circumstances of the tragic event.
