McKayla Harshaw Obituary, Death – A tragic incident occurred just three days before her 25th birthday when a woman was killed in a seven-car pileup on I-75 South in Atlanta, as reported by her family. The victim has been identified as McKayla Harshaw.
According to officials, the accident happened as traffic was being redirected around a disabled Pontiac vehicle on Friday. As vehicles slowed down, two trucks collided with a van, causing a chain reaction. The van struck another car, which then hit the Toyota Corolla that Harshaw was riding in. The impact caused her vehicle to overturn, as stated by Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers.
At the time of the accident, Harshaw was seated in the passenger seat beside her boyfriend, as confirmed by her mother, Melissa Gunther. The interstate was closed for several hours following the crash while authorities worked at the scene.
“McKayla was a beautiful, thriving young woman with her entire life ahead of her,” Gunther expressed, reflecting on the loss of her daughter.
