Dustin Varnado Obituary, Death – On September 29, 2024, at around 1:30 AM, Louisiana State Police responded to a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Louisiana Highway 151, situated south of Louisiana Highway 144. The crash resulted in the tragic death of 38-year-old Dustin Varnado.
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicated that Varnado was driving a 2009 GMC Sierra in a southbound direction on Louisiana Highway 151. The circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the roadway are still being examined by authorities. After veering off, the GMC crashed into a wooden fence and subsequently overturned.
Due to the nature of the crash and the fact that Varnado was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, he suffered severe injuries that proved to be fatal. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding officials. Although there is currently no suspicion of impairment, standard toxicology samples were taken from the deceased and will undergo analysis as part of the investigation process.
This incident is still under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
