Lornder Lee Palmer Obituary, Death – The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has identified four victims who died in separate incidents caused by Tropical Storm Helene on Friday, September 27.

The first incident occurred at 7:17 a.m. at 5 Cedar Ave., Lot 11, where 56-year-old Lornder Lee Palmer was killed after a tree fell on her home. Palmer was trapped inside and was pronounced dead at 7:38 a.m.

At 9:43 a.m., first responders were called to 896 Chestnut Ridge Road in Marietta, South Carolina, where 40-year-old Aaron Marshall Lance was struck and killed by a fallen tree outside his home. He was pronounced dead at 10:22 a.m.

Around 9:20 a.m., another incident was reported at 2036A Cleveland Street Extension in Greenville. A tree crashed through the home, killing 59-year-old Charles Daly Dean III, who was pronounced dead at 10:14 a.m.

Lastly, at 9:54 a.m., first responders were called to 1369 Ridge Road in Greenville, where 68-year-old Moreno Arnez Maddox was struck by a falling tree branch outside his home. Maddox was pronounced dead at 10:19 a.m.

These deaths occurred as Tropical Storm Helene caused widespread damage across the area.
