Rosaria Bacigalupo Obituary, Death – An 83-year-old woman from Elk Grove Village, identified as Rosaria Bacigalupo, tragically died after being struck by her own vehicle in her driveway. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, September 25, in the 600 block of Stonehaven Avenue. Police were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m., where they found Bacigalupo injured at the top of her driveway, while her vehicle was located at the bottom, partially on the roadway with the engine still running.
Authorities are still trying to determine how the accident occurred, as the circumstances remain unclear. It is believed that Bacigalupo was struck by her own car, but how this unfolded is under investigation. Firefighters arrived shortly after the police and transported Bacigalupo to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:13 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
