Edward Hacker Obituary, Death – A 30-year-old man, Edward Hacker, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Monday. The crash occurred in the area of Amherst Street and Capitol Street when the motorcycle he was riding collided with an SUV.
Nashua police initially alerted the public via social media at 5:24 p.m. on Monday, announcing the closure of westbound traffic on Amherst Street due to the accident. In a press release issued the following day, police confirmed that the crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV.
Hacker, identified as a Nashua resident, was transported to a local hospital after the collision, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the SUV, a 51-year-old man, was unharmed in the accident and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed against the SUV driver.
Nashua police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash to determine the events that led to the fatal collision. Amherst Street, which was initially closed for the investigation, reopened for both eastbound and westbound traffic around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
