John Wilson Whaley Obituary, Death – The South Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a 73-year-old man who died from injuries sustained in a single-vehicle accident in Wall, South Dakota, on Friday morning. The victim, John Wilson Whaley from Pierre, was driving a 1929 Ford Model A westbound on Interstate 90 when the incident occurred near mile marker 110.
According to preliminary reports, Whaley’s vehicle drifted out of its lane to the left. In an attempt to correct the vehicle’s trajectory, he oversteered to the right, which caused the car to spin. As a result, the vehicle crossed onto the shoulder, entered the north ditch, and ultimately rolled over. During the rollover, Whaley was ejected from the vehicle.
