Kevin Wilson Obituary, Death – On September 20, 2024, at approximately 10:53 PM, a head-on collision occurred on Highway 50 at Highway Z in Johnson County, Missouri.
The accident involved a 2021 Chevrolet Suburban driven by 45-year-old Peter E. Goss from Mission Hills, Kansas, who was traveling westbound. Goss entered the eastbound lanes, leading to a direct collision with a 2023 Subaru Legacy driven by 65-year-old Kevin R. Wilson from Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Wilson suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead by Johnson County Coroner Clark at 12:14 AM. In contrast, Goss sustained serious injuries and was taken to Research Hospital by emergency medical services for treatment.
Both vehicles were deemed total losses and were removed from the scene by Ron’s Towing.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the accident, with support from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department.
