Maleah Archer Obituary, Death – A tragic rollover crash in Cowley County on Friday resulted in one fatality and another person requiring airlift to a hospital. The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident took place in the 32000 block of 61st Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a white Nissan in the east ditch along the road. According to the sheriff’s office, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading it to roll multiple times in the ditch.
The crash claimed the life of 21-year-old Maleah Archer from Arkansas City, who was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Another occupant, a 30-year-old man also from Arkansas City, was extricated from the wreckage by Arkansas City Fire and EMS teams. He was subsequently airlifted to a hospital in Wichita for treatment.
