Brandon Luther Cook, Wesley James Lineberry Obituary, Death – The identities of the two individuals who died in a gas station explosion in north-central Idaho last week have been released, while two others remain in the hospital. The explosion, which occurred last Wednesday afternoon, resulted in the deaths of two people and left four others injured.
According to the Idaho Press, the explosion caused severe injuries, leading to two of the injured being airlifted to hospitals in Washington, while the remaining two were taken to local hospitals by ground transport. Idaho State Fire Marshal Knute Sandahl confirmed that the two individuals airlifted were employees of the gas station.
The deceased victims have been identified as Brandon Luther Cook and Wesley James Lineberry. Both succumbed to blunt force trauma resulting from the blast.
UW Medicine reported that Donny Billeter, one of the injured, was in satisfactory condition as of Monday. In contrast, Roxann Hubbs was receiving intensive care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
The investigation into the cause of the explosion is ongoing. The gas station, where the incident occurred, is situated in Cardiff, a small community approximately 70 miles east of Lewiston in Clearwater County.
