The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has identified the victim of the September 15 shooting in southeast Charlotte as 19-year-old Chauncory Farmer.
The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Hollow Drive, near Monroe Road. The location, which was being used for an event, saw one person killed and two others seriously injured. When officers arrived at the scene, they found three individuals with gunshot wounds. All three were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, and one of them, later identified as Farmer, died shortly after arrival.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 704-432-TIPS (8477).
