Elvis Gabriel Alvarez Obituary, Death – A tragic wrong-way crash in the Woodbridge area claimed the life of a passenger on Friday, as reported by Prince William County Police. The crash occurred around 6:07 a.m. on Caton Hill Road near Killarney Drive.
Police stated that a 2017 Toyota Camry was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a 2015 Toyota Corolla that was heading southbound.
Elvis Gabriel Alvarez, a 23-year-old passenger in the Camry from Alexandria, was taken to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Both drivers involved in the crash sustained serious injuries and were also hospitalized. The Camry was driven by a 21-year-old woman from Springfield, while the Corolla’s driver was a 67-year-old woman from Woodbridge.
At this time, no charges have been filed against the driver of the Camry. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash and are requesting the public’s help. Investigators are particularly interested in learning more about the driving behavior of the Camry’s driver before the collision.
