Alexis Martinez Obituary, Death – On Thursday night, a 22-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Elmhurst Road. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the victim was Alexis Martinez from Mount Prospect. Martinez was pronounced dead at Northwest Community Hospital following the accident.
According to reports from the Daily Herald, the crash involved only the motorcycle. There were no other vehicles or parties involved in the incident.
Mount Prospect police indicated that the accident led to the closure of all lanes on Elmhurst Road (Route 83) between Golf Road (Route 58) and Sunset Road. The road was shut down for approximately three hours while investigators examined the scene. It was reopened around 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
