Christopher Frangos Obituary, Death – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who went missing while off-roading in eastern Poland Township and was later found deceased. The deceased has been identified as Christopher Frangos, a 45-year-old resident, according to the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office. Frangos was reported missing shortly after midnight by fellow off-road enthusiasts who were navigating trails in the area.

The coroner’s office pronounced Frangos dead at the scene. While no signs of foul play have been observed, an autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.

To aid in the search, the Mahoning County Sheriff deployed a drone equipped with an infrared camera, while the Ohio State Highway Patrol sent a helicopter to scan the wooded area around Kennedy Road. Despite these efforts, the search was suspended at around 2 a.m. without finding Frangos.

Witnesses and fellow riders informed the police that Frangos was well-acquainted with the terrain, which adds to the mystery surrounding his disappearance. The investigation is currently ongoing, with collaboration between the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office and the Poland Township Police Department.
