Keith Bridgett Obituary, Death – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver who died in a fatal crash on I-16 as 42-year-old Keith Bridgett from South Carolina. Following the accident, which caused significant disruption, all lanes of the highway have now been reopened to traffic.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One person is dead after a crash on Interstate 16 east Thursday afternoon.
The driver of the semi-trailer truck was uninjured.
All lanes of Interstate 16 east are shut down, according to the sheriff’s office. Georgia Department of Transportation’s 511ga.org service shows the crash happened just past the SR 87/US 80/MLK Jr. Blvd. exit. As of 3:15 p.m., the site listed an anticipated incident end time of 11:45 p.m.
