Michael Personale, Ashley Manaco Obituary, Death – On Tuesday evening, September 10, Penn Yan police responded to a tragic incident in which two people were found dead inside a home, now believed to be a murder-suicide. The Penn Yan Police Department identified the deceased as Michael Personale, 37, and Ashley Manaco, 38. According to police, officers were called to the residence at 127 Franklin Street around 7:38 p.m. after a family member discovered the bodies.
Upon arrival, authorities found both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds. Personale had multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and head, while Manaco died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to her neck. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
