Vincent Onofre, Mercadez Silva Rivera Obituary, Death – The two individuals who lost their lives in a rollover crash early Saturday morning have been named as 19-year-olds Vincent Onofre and Mercadez Silva Rivera.
The accident occurred around 2:20 a.m. at the intersection of Applewhite Road and South Zarzamora. According to authorities, a white Cadillac Escalade was speeding along South Zarzamora when it hit a median, causing the vehicle to lose control and flip over.
Both Onofre and Silva Rivera were ejected from the Escalade and were pronounced dead at the scene due to their injuries. Two other passengers in the vehicle were injured but are in stable condition after being taken to the hospital.
