Teresa Brown-Garcia Obituary, Death – A Mississippi woman, Teresa Brown-Garcia, 51, was killed in a head-on collision in Louisiana. The crash occurred on LA Highway 25 near Cypress Road in Washington Parish at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5.
According to Louisiana State Police, Brown-Garcia was driving a 2015 Kia Forte northbound on the highway when her vehicle veered off the road and struck a guardrail. After hitting the guardrail, the Kia re-entered the road, crossed into the southbound lane, and collided head-on with a 2020 Ford Taurus.
Brown-Garcia, who was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Investigators are continuing to look into the circumstances of the crash.
