Merly Tahiry Obituary, Death – The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who was fatally shot on Monday in the Renton Highlands as 20-year-old Merly Tahiry Herrera Moreno. Moreno was shot in the chest in the early hours of the morning, shortly after 2 a.m. on Shelton Avenue Northeast.
According to Renton Police, an attempt was made to rush Moreno to the hospital. Individuals involved in the incident flagged down officers outside the Renton Inn, located at 219 Sunset Blvd North. Despite receiving medical assistance, Moreno succumbed to her injuries.
