Bailey Beyers Obituary, Death – The Livingston County Coroner’s Office has identified Bailey Beyers, a 28-year-old from rural Forrest, as the driver of the semi-truck who was killed in a fiery crash last week near Chatsworth.
The accident occurred around 3:05 a.m. on Friday, August 30, at the intersection of U.S. Route 24 and 3350 East Road. According to Illinois State Police, the collision happened when a pickup truck failed to stop at the intersection and was struck by the semi-truck. The impact caused the semi to overturn and catch fire.
The driver of the pickup truck was injured and was airlifted to a regional hospital for treatment.
