Elijah Ricardo Clunie Obituary, Death – Boston Police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred at a Dorchester barber shop on Monday as 20-year-old Elijah Ricardo Clunie, a resident of Dorchester. The shooting took place at 184 Washington Street, near the intersection of Washington and Erie Streets, around 12:55 p.m.
Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin stated that two men were shot at the scene. Emergency medical personnel treated both men before transporting them to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, Clunie succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The second man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and, as of Wednesday, is expected to survive.
Investigators do not believe that the shooting was random.
