Denzel A. Chan Obituary, Death – On Monday afternoon, a shooting in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights area resulted in one death and four injuries. The incident took place around 2:35 p.m. at 307 Eastern Parkway, within the jurisdiction of the 77th Precinct.
When police arrived, they discovered five individuals with gunshot wounds. The victims included a 69-year-old woman with a bullet wound to her right shoulder, a 64-year-old man who was shot in the right arm, a 36-year-old man with a head wound, a 25-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen, and a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his left arm.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported all five individuals to New York City Health and Hospitals/Kings County. Four of the victims are reported to be in stable condition. Unfortunately, the 25-year-old victim, identified as Denzel A. Chan from Spring, Texas, later died at the hospital due to his injuries.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is still ongoing. The NYPD is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they continue their search for the suspect.
