Joseph Eli Obituary, Death – The Lake County Coroner’s Office has released information about a fatal crash that took place early Monday morning in northern Illinois. The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. in an unincorporated area near Antioch.
According to the coroner’s office, the Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Antioch Fire Protection District were dispatched to the scene following reports of a vehicle colliding with a tree. Upon arrival, emergency responders found the damaged vehicle on the south side of the road. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Joseph Eli from Neenah. An autopsy conducted at the coroner’s office revealed that Eli died from blunt force injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are still under investigation, and no additional details have been released at this time.
