Brian Henley Obituary, Death – The Merced County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal shooting as 58-year-old Brian Henley. The incident occurred on Thursday, August 29, at the intersection of Vine and Fruitland Avenues, just outside of Atwater.
The Sheriff’s Office has named Straightarrow McPherson as a suspect in the case. McPherson has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and a felony firearms offense.
