Mary Linda Fain Obituary, Death – The Caddo Coroner’s Office has identified the elderly woman who died in a house fire on Friday as Mary Linda Fain. The tragic incident took place at her residence on the 1400 block of East Kings Highway.
Fain, along with numerous pets, lost their lives in the blaze. According to authorities, the fire originated in a bedroom and spread into the attic, causing significant fire and smoke damage to the front of the house.
Firefighters found Fain near the back door of the home, along with 20 dogs and cats, all of whom died in the fire. Fain was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation as authorities work to determine how it started.
