Thomas Needle Obituary, Death – Temple police have identified the victim of a deadly car accident as 30-year-old Thomas Needle from Kempner. The incident took place around 8:15 a.m. on Friday in the 2100 block of South 9th Street in Temple. When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle that had collided with a house and was on fire.

According to the police, the vehicle was traveling east on Avenue U when it veered off the road, collided with a parked car, and then crashed into the house. Judge Larry Wilkey pronounced Needle dead at 8:25 a.m. His body was transported to the Southwestern Institute of Forensics Science in Dallas for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

The residents of the house were not present at the time of the crash. They have been displaced due to the damage and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
