Steven Gutierrez Obituary, Death – Two men were killed in a shooting in Nashville’s Lakewood area early Sunday morning. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the deaths, which occurred on Fields Drive around 4 a.m. According to Metro Nashville police, a 19-year-old man, who later arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound and subsequently died, was involved in the shooting death of 41-year-old Steven Gutierrez. The incident took place during a party at Gutierrez’s home.
Witnesses reported that a verbal confrontation preceded the shooting. After the argument, the 19-year-old left the scene and shot Gutierrez multiple times. Following the shooting, the gunman fled, only to show up later at the hospital with a gunshot wound himself. Despite receiving medical attention, he did not survive.
