Katelynn Hinkle Obituary, Death – A fatal accident occurred in Henry County on Wednesday night, resulting in one death and two individuals being hospitalized. As the Henry County Sheriff’s Office reported, a passenger vehicle was heading south on US Route 6 around 9:35 p.m. in Harrison Township. Authorities indicated that the passenger vehicle did not yield the right of way to a semitruck travelling west on State Route 109.
The collision resulted in injuries to both the driver and front-seat passenger of the passenger vehicle, who were subsequently transported to local hospitals. Their medical conditions remain undisclosed.
The back-seat passenger, identified as 21-year-old Katelynn Hinkle from Lima, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semitruck driver received on-site treatment for minor injuries and was later released. The sheriff’s office has stated that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
