Jesse Benich Obituary, Death – Authorities are actively seeking the individual responsible for the shooting death of a man in an alleyway located in west Phoenix. The Phoenix Police Department reported that the incident occurred early Tuesday morning at approximately 6:50 a.m. in the vicinity of 7th Avenue and Solano Drive.
The victim has been identified as 53-year-old Jesse Benich. According to police reports, Benich’s body was discovered after officers responded to a welfare check in the alleyway.
It was determined that he had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
