Humberto Luna Obituary, Death – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the deceased individual discovered in Starlight Park in March as 18-year-old Humberto Luna. On March 1, law enforcement responded to a 911 report regarding a person in the water near Sheridan Boulevard and East 172 Street.
Upon arrival, officers located Luna unconscious and unresponsive in the water. The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) retrieved Luna from the water, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) subsequently declared him dead at the scene.
