Payton Roberts Obituary, Death – Utah Highway Patrol has identified Payton Roberts, 28, as the victim of a fatal semi-truck rollover that occurred about a week ago. The crash happened in the early morning hours of August 18 on I-15 near milepost 85 in Iron County, just north of Parowan.
According to reports, two semi-trucks were traveling northbound on the interstate when the rear truck collided with the front one. Cpl. Haley Scheer from the Utah Highway Patrol explained that the impact caused the rear truck to veer off the right shoulder and roll over.
Roberts, who was driving the truck that rolled over, was pronounced dead at the scene. As of now, Utah Highway Patrol has not provided additional details about the incident or the reasons behind the crash.
